The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA) has introduced that the nationwide basketball group, the Silverbacks, will maintain a coaching camp in Rwanda forward of the FIBA World Cup qualifiers.
In a press release launched on Monday, group administration named a 12-man squad for the upcoming qualifying match.
Head coach Mandy Juruni will lead a residential coaching camp in Kigali from June 20 to June 30 because the group prepares for the competitors.
The camp will deal with health, tactical preparations and group chemistry earlier than the Silverbacks journey to Luanda, Angola.
Uganda will compete within the FIBA Africa World Cup Qualifiers from July 2 to July 5.
“This window calls for absolute focus. The ten days in Kigali shall be instrumental in fine-tuning our execution. We now have a gaggle that understands the magnitude of representing Uganda on this stage, and the preparation will mirror that.”
