Rwanda–Singapore Police cooperation delivers new graduates

Two Rwanda Nationwide Law enforcement officials have accomplished the Senior Officers Fundamental Course in Singapore underneath the Rwanda Police–Singapore Police bilateral cooperation settlement. The commencement ceremony passed off on June 26.

The officers, Lawrence Manzi and Emmanuel Rusingizandekwe, graduated with the rank of Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP).

The ceremony was attended by Rwanda’s Excessive Commissioner to Singapore, Harmless B. Muhizi, Rwandan diplomats in Singapore, and ACP Augustin Ntaganira, the Deputy Commandant and Chief Teacher on the Nationwide Police Faculty.

Rwanda Nationwide Police and Singapore Police Pressure signed a Memorandum of Understanding in August 2022, establishing cooperation between the 2 establishments.

The settlement covers coaching and capability constructing, the trade of experience, info sharing, and coordination in policing and safety issues. It offers for cooperation in addressing transnational organised crime, together with cybercrime, human trafficking, on-line baby sexual exploitation, cash laundering, and the illicit commerce in arms and ammunition.

Since its signing, the settlement has facilitated the participation of Rwandan Law enforcement officials in coaching programmes in Singapore centered on skilled and management improvement.
