Rwanda and Kenya have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to facilitate the importation of refined petroleum merchandise into Rwanda by way of the Northern Hall transit route.

“It will allow Rwanda to supply its bulk petroleum merchandise utilizing Kenya’s infrastructure for transportation and storage,” reads an announcement from the Ministry of Commerce and Business (MINICOM).

Talking after the signing, Minister Kajangwe stated the MoU displays a shared strategic imaginative and prescient and reaffirms the long-standing partnership between the 2 international locations.
