A complete of 258,255 candidates are set to sit down the 2025/26 Secondary College Nationwide Examinations, slated for Wednesday, July 15-24, based on the Nationwide Examination and College Inspection Authority (NESA).
In a press release launched on Tuesday, NESA mentioned the examinations can be administered at 1,746 examination centres throughout the nation.
Of the registered candidates, 149,533 will sit for Unusual Degree (O-Degree) examinations, whereas 108,722 will do Superior Degree (A-Degree) examinations.

Feminine candidates account for 56.3 per cent of all registered candidates.
The examinations cowl Unusual Degree and the Superior Degree programmes, together with Common Schooling (GE), Technical Secondary Faculties (TSS), Trainer Coaching Faculties (TTC), Accounting (ACC), and the Affiliate Nursing Programme (ANP).
In line with NESA, 879 candidates with disabilities have been registered to sit down the examinations and can obtain the required lodging to make sure equitable participation.
The lodging embody Braille examination papers, large-print supplies, scribes, and extra examination time, relying on every candidate's wants.
