
British sixth seed Daphne Lovdahl reached her first ladies’ singles closing on the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J60 circuit in Kigali, establishing a title conflict with unseeded French prospect Artemis Anastasiadis on Saturday on the RP Kigali Ecology Tennis Membership.
Lovdahl booked her place within the closing after defeating Moldova’s Natalia Drobca 6-2, 6-4 in Friday’s semifinal.

Drobca entered the last-four conflict in spectacular kind after knocking out second seed Milana Kolesova within the quarterfinals, however Lovdahl proved too robust as she continued her run in direction of a maiden junior title.
Anastasiadis, in the meantime, secured her place within the closing with a convincing 6-4, 6-0 victory over Zambia’s third seed Kuzivaishe Chapepa within the different semifinal.
Within the boys’ singles draw, Namibia’s high seed Israel Dowie superior to the ultimate after Kenya’s Zayyan Virani retired on account of damage following the opening set of their semifinal.
Virani’s retirement ended his bid to defend the title he gained throughout the first week of the Kigali event.
Dowie will face Czech Republic second seed Nicolas Moravec within the closing. Moravec earned his place within the title decider after defeating Israel’s Yonatan Shagas 7-5, 7-5 within the different semifinal.
