Gisagara Volleyball Membership head coach Laurence Yakan Guma has parted methods with the group because of private causes after guiding the group to a fourth-place end within the 2025/26 season.
The event was confirmed to Instances Sport by the membership’s Secretary Common, Edmond Gatera.
A former Rwanda nationwide group participant who later transitioned into teaching, Yakan joined the Southern Province-based aspect forward of the 2025/26 season after spending time in Japan pursuing his research.
“We’re in search of a brand new coach to take over the group on a long-term foundation, and we are going to announce him quickly,” Gatera mentioned.
Yakan returned to Rwanda in August 2025 and instantly took cost of Gisagara VC. Forward of the season, he strengthened the squad with the recruitment of center blocker Ronald Muvara, setter Sylvestre Ndayisaba, and Venuste Gatsinzi.
The trio performed a major position in serving to the membership take pleasure in a powerful marketing campaign, as Gisagara completed high of the regular-season standings and secured a spot within the playoffs.
