Rwanda and European Funding Financial institution (EIB) have signed a €65 million financing settlement (approx. Rwf110 billion) to strengthen local weather resilience throughout the volcanoes area, the Ministry of Finance and Financial Planning (MINECOFIN) mentioned.

The funding will assist the Volcanoes Neighborhood Resilience Challenge (VCRP), a serious initiative aimed toward lowering flood dangers, restoring degraded watersheds, and strengthening ecosystems throughout eight districts extremely susceptible to landslides, soil erosion, and different climate-related hazards.
